I had to go to the bank today to cash a check. I went to my local Chase bank branch and experienced the poorest customer service decision in quite a while.
It is 5pm on a Friday, a normal payday for most, and there is one teller working and three people in line. Not too bad except there are three managers or “personal bankers” sitting on their duffs watching those of us in line.
To make it even worse, the branch manager was going to each of us telling us it would not be long before we were helped. It would have been more appropriate to actually help us instead of pretending to.
I guess this is good practice for me. I have to go to the DMV Monday morning.
