It is quite obvious that the second “S” in “USPS” no longer stands for “Service.”
I had to ship a priority package this morning on the way to an 8am appointment. Being new to Fort Collins, I went to a US Post Office I had never visited before.
When I arrived at 7:40, the lights were off and the door locked. There was no lobby with a drop box, not was there a drop box outside. This is a level of service I had never experienced before, but it gets better.
As I walked back to my truck, I spied two standard blue USPS mailboxes 100 yards away in front of a grocery store that is in the same shopping center/strip mall as the USPS office.
While I understand putting the mailboxes in a high traffic area such as in front of a grocery store, what “genius” in USPS management decided to neglect the sidewalk directly in front of their office?
I ordered FedEx shipping supplies as soon as I returned to my office.
