To paraphrase George Bernard Shaw, “The careful man adapts himself to the world; the reckless one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the reckless man.”
To what degree are you reckless or careful? There is not a right or wrong answer but rather an answer of degrees. In my experience and observation, the answer depends heavily on the two things:
- level of aversion to risk
- resiliency in the face of setback
Now, you are better prepared to make a more informed decision about your next step.
